The first Section of this article consists of extensive research into major theorists in the Organizational Theory and Behavior arena such as Taylor, Drucker, Bennis, Weber, Peters, Bertalanffy, Likert and others. These major theorists of Organizational Theory and Behavior provide a framework for understanding the intricate issues surrounding how organizations behave while undergoing change, and the many factors that both shape and influence this change. The format of this section of article is a (simulated) symposium. Major organizational behavioral theorists will present their theories and discussion between the participants will be provided so that comparing and contrasting may be accomplished. This will enable one to obtain a thorough grasp of major organizational behavior theories and their progenitors. The second Section of this article is an in-depth analysis of how the management theories of Peter Drucker and Thomas Peters impact organizations, particularly in the area of innovation. Specifically, it will address issues such as how to most effectively implement change in an organization, the application of risk and the place managers should take in this area of innovation.
