We analyze the proximity measure introduced by Pappis and, give agenera definition of proximity measure in this paper. Based on theaxiom definition of similarity measure, we discuss some properties ofsimilarity measure. The results, to some extent, could simplify theprocess of comparison of some similarity measures of fuzzy values.
