CRO-processed HOPE can help with high-efficiency, cost-effectiye moisture barrier. CEREAL, COOKIE AND CRACKER manufacturers need moisture-barrier packaging to protect the quality and flowability of their products. Moisture ingress into the packaging can shorten shelf life and cause the individual product pieces to stick together—especially sugar-coated cookies or cereal pieces and salt-coated snacks. Typically, these types of products are packaged in a film bag within a paperboard outer box. And high-density polyethylene (HOPE) is a leading material choice for the bag structure.
