There are giants and giants. The only real ones are China and India and the US if we include economic and political power. Then there are semi-giants like Russia, Indonesia and Brazil with populations around 200 million. This is a report on visits in Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo and Gramado in southern Brazil, including visits to the fashion fair Fashion Business in Rio de Janeiro, discussions about trade policy and export promotion as well as a factory visit in Sao Paulo and a visit to the fashion fair Fenin in Gramado during a week and a half in January 2007.
