TN 4600, a research course offered by the Department of Nursing Education and Service at Teachers College, Columbia University, has two objectives. The first is to develop skills in critically evaluating research studies. A second and equally significant purpose is to provide students with an opportunity to participate actively in a research experience. The following is a report of the group research conducted during the fall of 1967.
