The Iron Steel Society's Ferrous MetallurgyGrant Program at Michigan Technological University (MTU) hasbeen very successful in stimulating among MTU students bothinterest in careers and research activity related to the iron andsteel industry. Students at the undergraduate and graduate levelshave enjoyed the opportunity to learn about the industry, itschallenges and its opportunities.
