DuPont Textiles Interiors (DTI) held Rendez-Vous in Hong Kong nearly every year, attached to a major fashion event. Now, since DTI was sold to Koch Industries the new company, Invista, has elevated this annual event to an unprecedented level - from several hundred m~2 to 2,000 m~2, to show the company's new commitment to this apparel event. Thus when Invista Rendez-Vous 2004 opened its gate in Shanghai alongside Intertextile Shanghai 2004 on October 26-29, a large number of buyers, manufacturers and retailers flocked to the event.
