摘要

AbstractComposite polypyrrole/catechol films with cation‐exchange properties have been prepared by electropolymerization on AT‐cut 10 MHz gold piezoelectrodes at constant potential. The use of the electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance allowed us to diagnose the type of ion dynamics in these films. Incorporation of a variety of heavy metals was feasible by applying potentials more negative than −200mV (vs. SCE). Regeneration of these films was performed by releasing these metals into the solution during the reverse potential step. Incorporation of the following metal ions PbII, CdII, CoII, and NiIIinto polymer matrix was found even in the presence of large excess of sodium
