As China Telecom and China Netcom do not currently produce detailed financial data, it is impossible to make definitive comparisons with world and European averages for incumbent operators. Nevertheless, a large part of China Telecom's business is represented by the publicly-listed subsidiary, China Telecom Corporation Ltd. Similarly, a large part of China Netcom's business is represented by the publicly-listed subsidiary, China Netcom Group Corporation (Hong Kong) Ltd. The published results for these companies are set out in the following table and compared with ITI's European Union (EU) and World averages for incumbent operators, for what it is worth.
