In spite of the many studies on biological predispositions of aggressive and violent behavior, there is no conclusive body of evidence to indicate that a strong correlation exist. This study reviews the literature on some of the biological mechanism such as genetics and hormones that are believed to be correlated with aggressive and violent behavior. Although many studies have purported to claim that biological conditions are evident with less complex organism, in the human species, this claim does not appear to be warranted.
