The core cellose fibres business of Lenzing Group generated an all-time record result last year. Sales increased by 16.8 to 1,100.5 million euros (942.6 million euros in 2005), exceeding the one billion euro mark for the first time. EBIT at 107.1 million euros was 31 higher than the year before (81.8 million euros). The result before taxes came to 98.6 million euros (79.3 million euros), an increase of 24. Net income after minority interests was at 83.9 million euros represented an increase of 48. Due to this excellent result the management board will propose an increased dividend of euros 10 euros per share compared with eight euros in 2005.
