Using the PY approximation to the radial distribution function for hard spheres, the first temperature correction to the fourth virial is obtained for a trianglehyphen;well perturbing potential. The results are compared with those obtained for a square well and a LJ (12ndash;6) with a hardhyphen;sphere cutoff. The TW is shown to be in somewhat closer agreement with the LJ (12ndash;6) than is the SW and for the same value of the cutofflpar;nthinsp;equals;thinsp;2rpar;that characterizes similar agreement for the lower virial coefficients.
