From the southern states of America comes a report about an interesting use of aluminium sections in building: the company Moultrie Manufacturing product a wide range of architectural design components which would fit directly on any mansion on a plantation in Georgia. Their material: aluminium. The pillars and columns produced by the company under the product name "Old South" adorn residential buildings, libraries and other public buildings, and not only in the south of the country. Moultrie Manufacturing's product range also include fences and gates. The company, which receives about 500 t of aluminium per year from its neighbour Hydro Aluminium Wells in Moultrie, Georgia, also produces special products for applications in industry and in the public area.
