Ottawa— Petronas and its partners have decided, not to move ahead with the planned Pacific NorthWest LNG project at Port Edward in British Columbia, Canada, following a review of the project amid changes in market conditions (PCN, 3 Oct 2016, p 3). The $ll-billion project, announced in 2013, was to involve two liquefied natural gas (LNG) trains with approximately 6-million t/y of capacity each, and included plans for the subsequent development of a third train with the same capacity.
