A new twin-purpose, light weight iron plough suitable for small animals capable of doing dry ploughing (throwing the furrow slice on both sides) and wet land puddling (complete inversion of furrow slice) by simply changing the plough bottom with the help of two bolts and nuts has been fabricated and field tested. The plough is simple in construction, works on the principle of suction rather than dead weight of the plough. It covers about 0.4 ha per day of eight hours. The approximate cost of the plough is
