Mass-produced denim jeans perhaps look so much alike that three designers at the Institute of Textiles Clothing at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, were moved to make an effort to give denim a new effect by adding aesthetic elements to jeans. A highlight of their effort was the "Washed Out" Denim Exhibition held on December 21-27, 2007 at the InnoCentre in Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong.
