A dischargehyphen;excited XeCl excimer laser equipped with unstable resonator optics was injection locked to a lowhyphen;power picosecond pulse train resulting in an efficient highhyphen;power output consisting of a train of sim;150hyphen;ps pulses separated by sim;2 ns and lasting for the duration of the excimer gain.
