The paper shows information referring to the MoSi_2 and Al_2O_3used as metallic components at the manufacturing of cermets belongingto the MoSi_2-Al_2O_3 system. Beside the basic characterization ofraw materials, which are the constituents of the metalloceramicproducts, the article emphasizes data related to the manufacturingconditions of the above mentioned system, also information concerningthe composition, properties and structure of cermets.
