At 296 K the electron mobility decreased in the liquidsnhyphen;hexanenhyphen;decanenhyphen;dodecane nhyphen;tetradecane in accord with the two state model of electron transport (eminus;ilrlarr2;eminus;qf); the percolation model was inadequate. The temperature dependences were determined fornhyphen;decane, nhyphen;dodecane, nhyphen;tetradecane toT450 K. Free ion yields were also measured. At a given temperatureGofiwas the same in all these liquids to within plusmn;4percnt;. The densityhyphen;normalized thermalization ranges of secondary electrons, estimated from the extended Onsager model, werebGPd=(49plusmn;1)10minus;6kg/m2under all conditions.
