摘要

The radiohyphen;frequency spectrum of metastablea3Pgr;13COhas been measured in molecularhyphen;beam electric resonance in the range 0ndash;2000 MHz. Electrichyphen;dipole transitions withDgr;Jthinsp;equals;thinsp;0andDgr;Fthinsp;equals;thinsp;0, plusmn;thinsp;1have been observed in statesverbar;thinsp;ugr;, OHgr;, J, Frang;thinsp;equals;thinsp;verbar;thinsp;0ndash;3, 1ndash;2, 1ndash;7, Jthinsp;plusmn;thinsp;12rang;at zero field. The set of transitions in each vibrational state has been analyzed to give three parameters describing the lowesthyphen;order magnetic hyperfine interactions of the13C nuclear spinlpar;Ithinsp;equals;thinsp;12rpar;with the spin (S) and orbital (L) angular momenta of the two unpaired electrons in the5sgr;2pgr;openhyphen;shell configuration. The vibrational dependence of the measured hyperfine parameters is fitted to a polynomial inlpar;ugr;thinsp;plus;thinsp;12rpar;nto give:OriginParameterValue atRelpar;a3pgr;rpar; lpar;in MHzrpar;Imiddot;SFermi contactKequals;1935.1thinsp;plusmn;thinsp;0.5Imiddot;Sspinndash;spin dipoleDdgr;equals;106.5thinsp;plusmn;thinsp;0.1Dequals;7.9thinsp;plusmn;thinsp;0.1Imiddot;Lspinndash;orbitalGequals;162.5thinsp;plusmn;thinsp;0.1Restricted Hartreendash;Fock calculations of these hyperfine terms are in good agreement with the measured values. The Stark effect has been measured in statesverbar;thinsp;ugr;, OHgr;, J, Frang;thinsp;equals;thinsp;verbar;thinsp;0ndash;3, 2, 2ndash;3, Jthinsp;plus;thinsp;12rang;ofa3Pgr;13COto give dipole moments which display a slight nonvibrational isotopic shift (1 in 104) from the moments measured in the corresponding statesverbar;thinsp;ugr;, OHgr;, Jrang;ofa3Pgr;12CO.
