An electrophoretic deposition (EPD) forming technique was appliedfor fabrication of composite film of PbZrO3 and PbTiO3, PbZrO3/PbTiO3composite films with 30 mu m thickness were prepared on platinumsheet by the electrophoretic lamination method followed by sintering.The temperature dependence of dielectric constant of the compositesshowed two peaks; sharp one at 200 deg C and broad one centered at300 deg C. These peaks were attributed to the formation of PZT solidsolution at the interface between PbZrO3 and PbTiO3 layers, becausethe Curie temperatures of each single-phase for PbZrO3 and PbTiO3ceramics are 234 deg C and 490 deg. C, respectively.
