摘要

This article contributes to the knowledge-orientated evaluation of the bearing strength of welded AlMgSi alloys. To do this, the mechanical and technological characteristics of the MIG and laser beam welding processes for I-seam buff welding were compared. The strength values determined show that compared with MIG weld seams, laser have a fatigue resistance which is higher by a factor of 2 with significantly more favourable characteristics when subjected to "crash-like" loading.
