Derby-based composites engineering firm Pentaxia has invested in Vericut CNC simulation and optimisation software. The company employs 57 staff and has a large five-axis facility with five five-axis and two three-axis machine tools installed in a 7,000ft2 workshop. The remaining 15,000ft2 of the facility has two autoclaves, three clean rooms, a full inspection facility and these will shortly be joined by a new paint facility and composite press. The ISO 9001 approved company also has AS9100 aerospace accreditation, and works with many of the main Formula One teams and aerospace companies.
