Some single phases with tetragonal tungsten bronze structureBa~1-xLn_2x/3Nb2O6, were confirmed in the area of Ln=La-Er and Y whenX=0.25. Sintering behavior and electric properties were investigatedto compare with SBN. It was found that there is good linearrelationship between Curie temperature and ionic radii of substitutedrare-earth elements. Axial ratio and electrical properties indicateBaLnNb series has the polar axial along 001. The crystallographyand fermelectric characteristics of BaLnNb system depended on ionradii of the trivalent rare-earth elements. Substitution of smallerrare-earth ion would raise the Curie temperature and lower thedielectric constant, which were preferred for FMM film materials.
