Pakistan's textile and garment exports from July 2006 to March 2007 amounted to more than US$8 billion or 7 higher than in the previous corresponding period. March was a record month, reporting $993 million worth of exports. If this upward momentum is sustained the total textile and garment exports in this current fiscal year could well exceed the $11.5 billion target set for the year.
