A large number of accurately dimensioned ceramic components with complicated geometries can be produced by thermoplastic forming methods at a relatively low price. In contrast to the common injection moulding processes in hot moulding method exclusively liquid melting paraffines and waxes are used as binding materials. The processing of these hot moulding slips requires the optimum adjusting of the rheological properties. Because of the low viscosity very complicated geometries and miniature-components can be produced.
