Decosit Brussels, held on September 8-11, 2007, attracted 11,603 visitors, representing 3,967 companies, which was 5 less than in 2006. Most buyers (76) came from Europe, others from Asia (12), United States (6) and elsewhere. The Wholesaler/Purchaser was clearly the most important group, representing some 50. Others included seating furniture manufacturers (16) and decorators (15), etc. While the attendance was a little lower than last year, Decosit Brussels 2007 was a good edition, says the organiser, Textirama vzw, based on several talks with both Decosit and Deco-Contract exhibitors and on the first results of the inquiry that was held among the exhibitors (200 of the 370). The concept of 'five trade fairs under one single roof was very well received, says the organiser. The 2007 edition generally gave no-one a euphoric feeling, but was simply catalogued as good with a plus. Regarding the results of the inquiries among the exhibitors, 70 of them indicated the quality of the visitors was very good. When asked about the general level of satisfaction concerning their participation in Decosit Brussels 2007, no less than 80 indicated they were satisfied!
