ⅰ) The whiteness and brightness of bleached jute fabric is satisfactory to get bright and sharp prints after scouring with sodium hydroxide and then bleaching with hydrogen peroxide. ⅱ) Pigment printed jute fabric produced deep bright prints. ⅲ) Sharp outline and wash fast prints were achieved by pigment printing. ⅳ) Rubbing fastness property of pigment printed jute fabric was of high standard. ⅴ) There is no significant change in tenacity and extension value after pigment printing.
