In a recent publication lsqb;J. Chem. Phys.94, 3361 (1991)rsqb;, the motional anisotropy of benzene was determined from nuclear spin relaxation measurements. However, interpretation of the data was made in context of an expression which is valid only in the limit of isotropic reorientation. In this Comment, appropriate equations are given and additional clarification of the importance of relaxationhyphen;induced multispin order is presented.
