China's largest cotton textile producer, the Weiqiao Textile Company, has achieved 46 increase in sales revenue in 2006, says an official announcement. Total revenue during the year was 19.83 billion yuan. Gross profit amounted to more than 3.32 billion yuan, up 48.1 compared with 2005. Operating costs of the group at the same time, grew at a relative lower. As a result, an operating profit of 3.03 billion yuan, an increase 63.1 over 2005, was attained.
