The IMA Awards of Excellence is an annual program open to all companies demonstrating outstanding examples of magnesium's use. Nominations are judged by a Panel system of peer reviewers. The Awards program is now in its 40~(th) consecutive year. The award categories are:Design (two categories) - Cast Products and Wrought Products;Process: Primary production, conversion in manufacturing, improvements in manufacturing techniques leading to higher quality and reduced costs;Application: Creativity, Innovation, uniqueness, commercial success.
