It has been a disappointing year for the aluminium market and price, worse than expected by most analysts and industry leaders at the beginning of the year. The outlook for 2020 is not optimistic at all - most experts expect another weak year for aluminium and most base metals, not much different from this year. Only the tin price performed worse than aluminium on the LME over ten months, and only the prices for lead and nickel have risen this year.
