摘要

The thermo-mechanical characterization of ceramic materials is mostly performed by flexural and compressive tests. From these two tests we can't generally have the pure traction behavior of material because of the unknown position of the neutral fibre in the flexural strenght test. Apparatus realised by SFC enables to test traction response of rough microstructure materials such as refractory concrete or structural ceramics used in steels or glass industries.
