The centrally‐acting muscle relaxant glyceryl guaiacolate has been used extensively in continental Europe and, within recent years, has attracted the attention of North American workers. The pharmacological properties of the drug have been described. Glyceryl guaiacolate has been used in humans as well as in domestic and small experimental animals. A detailed description of its indications has been given. Die pharmakologischen Eigenschaften des Medikaments werden beschrieben. Glyceringuaiacolat ist sowohl beim Menschen als auch beim Haustier und bei kleinen Labortieren angewendet worden. Eine detaillierte Beschreibung seiner Indikationen wird angeführt.
