The operator techniques developed in the preceding paper are here applied to the determination of the intrinsic viscosity as a function of excluded volume and shear rate. The force constants which represent the excludedhyphen;volume interaction are determined, at nonvanishing shear rate, by a criterion of selfhyphen;consistency. Numerical results are given for the intrinsic viscosity and the equilibrium expansion of the meanhyphen;square endhyphen;tohyphen;end distance.
