Raman spectra of vanadium phosphate glasses

摘要

The Raman spectra of 60.0, 70.0, and 87.5 molepercnt; V2O5vanadium phosphate glasses and of crystalline V2O5were measured at room temperature. Raman bands were observed at frequency shifts of 340, 480, 750, 945, and 1030 cmminus;1for 60.0 molepercnt; V2O5glasses, of 32, 490, 705, and 1025 cmminus;1for 70.0 molepercnt; V2O5glasses, and of 320, 480, 650, and 1010 cmminus;1for 87.5 molepercnt; V2O5glasses. The bands just above 1000 cmminus;1are correlated with bands observed in the infrared and Raman spectra of crystalline V2O5. Previously unreported Raman bands were observed at frequency shifts of about 650 and 1025 cmminus;1for crystalline V2O5.
