The infrared absorption spectra of gaseous and liquidmhyphen;fluorochlorobenzene have been obtained in the region 2mdash;38mgr; with NaCl and CsBr prisms. The Raman spectrum of the liquid has been photographed with a 3hyphen;prism glass spectrograph of linear dispersion 15 A/mm at 4358 A. A complete assignment of the fundamental vibrational frequencies is given, and the spectra are interpreted in detail.
