摘要

Silicon carbonitride nanopowders have been synthesised by laser spray pyrolysis of a liquid precursor. The effects of various synthesis parameters such as chemical nature of the precursor and laser power on the degree of crystallisation and thermal stability of nanopowders are investigated. Characteristics of powders such as chemical composition, structure and thermal stability are reported. A correlation between synthesis conditions of powders and their thermal stability is established, and the synthesis parameters allowing improvement of thermal stability are determined.
