The Aluminum Extruders Council (AEC) recently released the results of its 2000 survey of extrusion shipments reported by end use. Since the 1999 survey, AEC and the Aluminum Association have been collaborating, reporting end-use figures jointly.Members from both associations are reporting their shipments to an independent market research firm, giving a more accurate account of aluminum extrusion shipments.
