摘要

Dense carbon fiber-reinforced hBN composites were fabricaled usingreactive sintering aids, Si3N4,SiO2 and Y2O3. by filament windingmethod followed by hot pressing in N2 flow. The most suitabletemperature for fabrication was found to be 1800 deg C. The bendingstrength of the composites at room and elevated temperatures showedexcellent properties, namely, it increased enormously as testtemperature increased. The strength at 1600 deg C reached double ofthe one at room temperature.
