When Heinz-Peter Schluter took over a secondary aluminium plant from the bankrupt estate of the metal works Sommer and founded the Aluminium Recycling Company mbH (ARG), it could not be foreseen that the foundation stone of a company had been laid, which only ten years later would play an important role in supplying metal to the aluminium industry - in Germany and beyond. After rapid development the company is now bringing together all its subsidiaries in Trimet Aluminium Inc. Under the roof of a single corporation the business structure will be optimised and the products and services of the group will be united under the name Trimet newly introduced in the market.
