It is a great pleasure and honor for us to present this Sixth International Green Energy Conference (IGEC-6) special issue of the International Journal of Green Energy, one of the three special issues of IGEC-6, which consists of 10 peer-reviewed papers selected from the conference, held in Eskisehir, Turkey, June 5-9, 2011. IGEC-6 was organized by Anadolu University. The organization committee took efforts and passions to provide a range of networking opportunities for all who attended. The conference includes 12 keynote presentations, 11 specialized sessions, and 127 oral and poster presentation sessions from participants on different subjects and 47 different countries, related to green energy.
