摘要

Model experiment on the direct observation of three dimensionalinterface debonding behavior has been carried out using notched glassrod-reinforced PMMA model composite. The observation reveals that theinterface partial debonding occurs ahead of noech tip and thedebonding area increases with the increase of applied stressintensity factor. The partial debonding behavior is due to tensileforce acting ahead of matrix crack tip.
