BHP Billiton Plc recently announced the signing of a nonbinding Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the partners of the Columbus Stainless Steel joint venture and the Spanish stainless steel producer; Acerinox SA, for the sale of 64 percent of the joint venture.
