AFTER several tough years andan impressive restructuringof its fleet and order/leasecommitments, LATAM Airlines Groupis seeing profits bounce back asBrazil’s economy recovers and airtravel demand growth acceleratesthroughout La n America.LATAM is looking to grow its Brazildomes c ASKs for the first me since2011. 2018 could also be an interestingyear in interna onal markets becauseof the likely implementa on ofthe Brazil-US open skies regime, tobe followed by the development ofLATAM’s planned JBAs (Joint BusinessAgreements) with American and IAGfrom early 2019.
