In the ever-competitive drinks market, everyone is familiar with aseptic cartons; and the beverage can is just as ubiquitous. But what about a mix between the two? If you haven't seen the concept, there's every chance you will soon. The LamiCan 250ml - developed by Finnish firm Lamican - is set to offer a new and improved alternative to the on-the-go drinks market in the coming months. An aseptic paperboard-based can, the LamiCan is easy to open, easy to drink from and easy to dispose of. Moreover, its strong environmental credentials and excellent stand-out on shelf make it a strong challenger to the current formats.
