Rigid plastic containers manufacturer Logoplaste manufactures two-litre bottles for Aria Foods' branded milk Cravendale at its hole-in-the-wall Hatfield site. Logoplaste is signed up to the Climate Change Agreement and has committed to a 12 reduction in kw per tonne of material produced over the next three years. This, and the fact that the company's cooling system for its blow moulders was between 10 and 12 years old, led to the firm's decision to upgrade the system. Three companies tendered for the project, but IsoCool was chosen for its refreshing approach, says Logoplaste plant manager Jon Hart. "We were confident that they would really take care of us before, during and after the installation, rather than just supply the kit and disappear."
