Sealpac will unveil its new tray sealing machine at the Anuga Food Tech show in Germany at the end of this month. The tray sealer, the Sealpac A4, is, according to the firm, an "ideal entry-level model that distinguishes itself with high efficiency, for example in processing vacuum skin packs with the TraySkin system". In this packaging process, products are sealed firmly in the tray by means of a highly transparent barrier film. For more on sealing, see the Buyers' Guide feature on page 41.
