摘要

In this paper, a modified model of invasion percolation is presented which gives a fuller description of fluid penetration of a hydrophobic porous material by incorporating contributions of both flow rate and pore filling to resistance to invasion. Three different materials with random pore distributions were simulated and tested. The effects of flow rate as well as material properties were tested. The forced flow percolation model was shown to be consistent with experimental results.
