FI projects that the U.S. Air Force will spend approximately $195 million over the next decade on its Information Decision Making Technology project. In FY11, look for Major Thrust One to work on developing tools to increase situational awareness and understanding of the air, space, and cyberspace domains through intelligent information processing. The Information Decision Making Technology project is a U.S. Air Force research and development endeavor. The project researches and develops technologies that address anticipatory decision support and course of action development, planning, scheduling, and assessment, as well as the real-time effective portrayal of complex data sets.
